IPC+ - Instrument Proficiency Check Plus

An Instrument Proficiency Check, simply known as an "IPC", is defined in 14 CFR 61.57(d).  This spells out the minimums for being legal to fly in IMC - Instrument Meteorological Conditions. We believe the minimums are just that. Anything less would be illegal. We believe pilots should strive for the other end of the spectrum - Proficient and Confident.

Practice is Essential
Ongoing training is what Insurance companies look for. They know the risks. They know what minimizes risks: regular, ongoing training and practice.

IPC+ Program
The IPC+ is a program that will keep you flying and training on a regular basis.  Scheduled sessions in the FMX allow you to train when it is convenient for you - not just when the weather and your schedule cooperate. Being able to shoot different approaches in different locations improve your ability to "sight read" an approach plate, not shoot those same 3 approaches you've known for years.

Cost
The cost of IPC+ is on an annual basis. That allows DestinationsEFC to offer it at a discount and a great value.

IPC+ Basic - $2195
This includes: one 2 hr session per month, which normally consists of 15 min briefing, 1.5 hr sim session, and 15 min debriefing.
